Global communications for Accenture

Case studies/web pages/podcasts for global information services team


As a contractor, managed process to develop case studies/client stories, including working with outside creative vendors and liaising with internal .com site teams, including work on copywriting and editing. Collaborated with internal resources to update home page, index content, and manage existing podcast series. 


Additionally, collaborated with production teams on podcasts/meeting videos, and managed external blog.


Global cross-technology content and marketing


As a contractor, contributed on global marketing and communications teams for technology offerings, including infrastructure, cloud, metaverse, and edge computing. Collaborated with senior leaders and matrixed teams across departments for thought leadership, client stories, presentations, training materials, video and audio, blogs, and web.


Global people communications 


As a contractor, participated on global people comms team, participated in global launches to drive people communications across multiple channels for high-profile programs. Interacted with senior leads to develop and deliver relevant content, and collaborated with colleagues across the organization.


Subsequently, managed a program for publishing and promoting informative and engaging news to Accenture employees. Managed portal articles, blog posts, email campaigns and provided video, audio, and executive scripting.


Global internal communications for information security team


As a contractor, after Accenture moved to all remote work or work from home, recruited colleagues from around the world to share their WFH stories. Developed profile articles for the Information Security internal portal, with engaging personal dialogue articles from across the globe.

Global communications for Terumo BCT acquisition

On contract with global medical device manufacturing firm, Terumo BCT (then Caridian BCT acquired by Terumo, headquartered in Japan), managed communications for global transition. Developed and implemented internal communications for company's global employees, as well as with the organization's diverse partnerships and alliances, such as  American Red Cross.

Research & reporting for U.S. government agencies

As senior manager for Kleimann Communication Group, a U.S. government contractor, led cross-level matrixed teams for the U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to develop employee communications for testing forms and letters. Facilitated one-on-one cognitive interviews and focus groups, as well as large-scale quantitative testing to demonstrate whether documents were achieving their targeted outcomes. Developed evidence-based reports to support research conclusions and recommendations.


Led evidence-based projects for external communication to at-risk populations, including best practices research and formative and qualitative testing. Managed testing sessions, led the analysis team, and co-authored the final report supporting research conclusions.


Led high-visibility projects for writing and production of employee guides such as "Guide to Conducting Form and Notice testing," a structured approach to testing that included a task list, step-by-step instructions, testing calendars, and references. Another guide provided IRS employees with procedures for measuring the effectiveness of their forms and notices.

External/internal communications for Ent Credit Union


Ent Credit Union (one of the top 25 credit unions in the U.S.) was in rapid growth mode, acquiring multiple smaller credit unions. As marketing director, led a high-functioning team to develop highly praised external and internal communication for Ent members and stakeholders, as well as credit union employees and employees of credit unions being acquired.


As marketing director, developed, led and executed marketing campaign, generating $35 million in term deposits in fewer than three months Directed and executed external and internal communications resulting in highly praised communication during multiple acquisitions of or mergers with other credit unions by the organization.


Additionally, launched a comprehensive "reward program," primarily for front-line staff, in which employees received points for good service and for meeting the organization's loan and investment goals. Led development of internal portal for employees to track progress and created meeting presentations, as well as informational video snippets. With 42 locations, internal communication was critical for keeping employees connected who are not co-located.
